WHAT DOES WORSHIP SOUND LIKE? Worship is at the same   time, timeless, yet   changes  from week to week.  Our congregation embraces every- one, so there is great variety.  Why not  listen in?  Just  click   below to experience the varied forms of worship.

MODERN SONGS      CHORAL MUSIC     CHILDRENS MESSAGE

ABSOLUTELY.  Give us a call and we'll find a good time to sit down and chat.  Just call the number above!  Everyone is welcome.  None of us are "good people", but we are saved people.  That means we come with baggage.........things we do wrong,  bad ideas, all kinds of problems from jobs to money and relationships.  That's the way God takes us, but wonderful things begin to happen.   What that means in your life you need to discover for yourself.

JUST LOOK AROUND YOUNature and the glories of the universe literally scream that an ultimate power is at work.  Science provides great insights, yet it doesn't really explain so much - a sunrise, a sunset how you feel when a baby laughs ---- or cries.  Even man's behavior offers proof.  Man is the only mammal with observable religious behavior.  In so many ways every continent and nation shows a thirst for that higher power.  You'll never see a squirrel setting up an altar or giving an offering, but it happens everywhere!!!  That's one of the things that makes it so confusing, for you truly should ask, "which one is right?"   Isn't it interesting that only ONE belief in God doesn't depend on a persons good works, and that ONE belief is ours.  It say's God did the work and does the work.  That's not the kind of thing a person dreams up because we like to believe we can influence God, make Him work for us.  Remember, "If you can fully grasp your god, THEN YOU'RE WORSHIPPING AN IDOL!!  You can't make your own God nor can you fully understand the one and only REAL GOD.   That's because HE'S BIGGER!!  IS THERE REALLY A GOD???? --- OH, YEAH!

IT LOOKS LIKE A SHOW ---- AND IT'S NOT  We gather for about one hour and listen to beautiful music, readings,  and an inspiring message.  Those who wish offer gifts.  Unlike a show, you can join in the songs.  They have beautiful messages.

After you've joined in for a while you'll see a change.  The whole hour takes one a new tone, one of relaxed communication with something much bigger than any of us, or all of us.   When will it happen to you?  How will it happen?  Those are things I can't predict ----- but I assure you, it happens!

WE TAKE AN OFFERING - ONLY THOSE WHO WISH SHOULD GIVE.  You'll never hear a sob story about how bad we need the money.  God has a wonderful way of making that happen.  For now, feel comfortable is simply passing the plate on to someone else.

HARBERT COMMUNITY CHURCH is..

NOT going to make a lot of outrageous promises!

but we'd really like  to  get to  know you.    We're   a   happily  diverse   family  of people  who share  ONE thing.  We  believe in Jesus. He is True God.  He died in our place, for our  failings,  and  in His resurrection conquered death, He lives forever.

Faith  creates a new  attitude!  Are we free from problems? - far from it, but we  make  sure  children  get a loving  head start,

Isn't it worth a Sunday morning to see for yourself?!
